The Magisterium Library is a large underground cavern with multiple levels/tiers accessed through the winding rivers of the school.
Description[]
While there are supposedly several entrances to the library, the most common is the arched doorway located near the Mission Gate. This entrance is engraved with the phrase "Thoughts are free and subject to no rule". After entering said arched doorway, there is a large, cavernous room. At the center of this room begins the spiraling staircase that leads to lower levels. The walls in the library are said to be bookcases, filled with ancient-looking books with yellow pages. In each level, there are long, probably rectangular, tables set up for the students. Throughout the entire library, there is a golden, warm-looking glow/light. The library also has sections and subsections, supposedly for the different kinds of magic and the alphabet. There are thousands of books in the library (located mainly in the tall bookshelves) that include information on the different kinds of magic, magical beings (IE wyverns), mage history, and more.
The bottom-most level of the library leads into the lower levels of the Magisterium's cave.
Descriptions of the library can be found in The Iron Trial and The Copper Gauntlet.
