The Magisterium is an academy for those with a propensity toward magic. It has a series of tunnels and is located in a secret location underground.
Levels
Before acceptance, the new mage must pass a test called the Iron Trial. Masters choose their apprentices, possibly through the Iron Trial.
The Magisterium has a number of years to train its mages.
Second-year students are identified with a large piece of hammered copper on their leather wristband.
Magisterium is presumably the stage of a mage's education before proceeding to Collegium.
